hi together,

I tried a lot to get a help in the sigames forum, but It was for nothing. I hope somebody can help me here.

I played my first season with liverpool, I play a 4-4-2 attacking at home and away a 4-4-2 more standard tactic.

my problem is my forwards torres and keane wont score enough. at home I play very attack but I cant score enough. I creat a lot of chances, but I think the forward settings are not good enough.

please can somebody help me to solve this scoring problem?

After 32 games I was on the second place, 1 point behind chelsea. Now after 38 games I ve been fifth, I didnt win the last 5 games, because of the scoring problem, I create many chances but I cant score enough to win.

Here are my setting:
again here is my teaminstructions for home games:

Here is the setting for the forward (torres) who is been playing more attacking than the other fc:

and the other setting for the fc who is been playing like a forward def (r.keane):

And finally the result of the home games:

you will realise that I scored too little goals at the home games, despite I play a very attack style.

Torres scored 10 goals in 36 games and robbie keane the same way.

I hope you have now a better overview about the thing.

But cant you recommend me generally advices to score more goals with two strikers?

thx

Have you tried going to SET TO on individual players tactics, setting one forward to target man and one to striker, then setting the team to play to target man, and playing to his strengths? Having a target man who holds the ball up and heads alot and a striker who darts about and runs onto balls etc is working for me/ hope it helps?!?!

no I havent tried, because I dont know how to set up for a target man?

but whats about the other settings for strikers. Passing: should be short or direct if I play a attacking style?

Fordward runs, run with ball and through ball how should I set this for the strikers? mixed or often?

whats is meant with through ball?

thx

Set your wingers to cross ball rarely. Keane and Torres aren't big guys, crossing the ball is a waste.

If you choose your players, say Torres up front, select his tactics (I click on the little arrow just to the left of his name) then select SET TO just under the search box, then TARGET MAN, then instructions next to it and make sure the player is selected as main target man. Then, on team instructions set TARGET MAN SUPPLY to whatever hes best at, so either run on to balls, to feet, etc - hope this makes sense, this is what Ive done on my tactic with good success. i'l post it if all else fails and you want to try!
