Mauro Zarate strikes a late free-kick to rescue a point for relegation-threatened Birmingham but dent Everton's hopes of finishing fourth.

Haven't watched the game so don't know how McFadden and Forsell played up front...but McCleish is got to find a place for Zarate... as i said Zarate is quality and he proved it yet again
 
McFadden looked ok from highlights, most active player but a few times he didnt hav end product, look your best player though, few good shots.
 
McFadden did a few good things. Seemed far too eager to shoot though.
 
Saw some extended highlights. McFadden actually look quite good, was their best player when he was on the pitch and had to do most of birmingham's attacking on his own. Zarate came on (and if anyone seen McCleish's interview he was upset at being left on the bench after saving their bacon in the last few games his started) played three or four exceptional passes (take note brumboy) and scored a very good free kick. McFadden and Zarate should be the partnership upfront....
