Sky Reporters have been down St. Andrews this morning, according to Sky sources Lee Clark has been sacked due to his lack of ambitions. Peter Pannu has had several interviews and long talks to many different managers to get them back up to the top flight, as expected Mick McCarthy was one of the candidates. However rookie, Liam Goode was down St. Andrews expressing his desire for the vacancy, being a life time Birmingham City fan himself.

Later that day Liam Goode was announced as the new Birmingham City manager. He noted in his opening press conference, he concentrating in getting Blues promoted first time asking and that will be his main focus, pleasing the supporters.

After a successful pre-season, Liam Goode didn't feel that he had to add to his squad but loaned out several youngsters to gain first team experience.





 
If you didnt sell any players how did you get 1.5m to spend???
