Tevez Sinks Blackpool
Blackpool 0 - 1 Manchester City
Blackpool were unlucky today, a Carlos Tevez penalty on the twenty-eighth minute proved the deciding winner after Pool captain Charlie Adam tripped Tevez leaving Howard Webb no choice but to point to the spot. On the brink of half time City left back Aleksandar Kolarov was sent off as DJ Campbell beat the offside trap forcing the Serbian to pull him back and take the card for the team.

Tangerines Win At The Britannia
Stoke 0 - 2 Blackpool
(DJ Campbell x2)
Another solid win for Blackpool yet again showing that they are no pushovers in the Premier League. Pacey striker DJ Campbell earning man of the match after bagging himself two goals. The first coming on the brink of half time when the Brazilian full back Rafael sprinted down the left and hooked a great ball in landing at the feet of Campbell who couldn't miss from 5 yards out. Charlie Adam capitalized on a poor clearance from the Stoke defence and then threaded a neat pass to Griffiths who knocked it across goal for the second of the game courtesy of DJ Campbell.

Seasiders Smash Sunderland
Blackpool 4 - 0 Sunderland
(Buonanotte, DJ Campbell x3)
It started off well for the home side as the little Argentina playmaker ran from the half-way line skipping past two defenders and drilling it into the bottom corner after just two minutes played. Five minutes later things went from bad to worse for Sunderland as Phil Bardsley conceded a penalty after a poor challenge on Griffiths allowing DJ Campbell to step up and convert the spot kick. With the half-time whistle set to sound a cleared Sunderland corner fell to Leigh Griffiths who spread the ball to DJ Campbell who ran at the goalkeeper and slotted it for his second. Campbell and Griffiths again involved in the fourth as a great one-two between the strikers allowed for Campbell to find some space who headed in the Scotsman's cross to round off his hat-trick.

What A Game!
Forest 2 - 4 Blackpool
(Campbell, Griffiths x2, Adam)
Not for the first time this season Blackpool started well with a goal in under ten minutes from that man again - DJ Campbell. Forest wasted no time in pulling one back when two minutes later Rob Earnshaw scored a screamer from thirty yards out cancelling out Pool's first. On the seventeen minute mark the Welshman Earnshaw doubled his tally after latching on to a great pass from Majewski to turn the game on its head. Blackpool started the second half with possession and passing but were not able to penetrate the Forest net. It looked all over as the Nottingham whistles and yells urged the referee to blow for full time. Substitute Elliot Grandin picked up the ball on the half way, passed to Buonanotte who cut in from the left flank, drove the ball across goal and the number nine Leigh Griffiths buried it into the bottom corner with only seconds on the clock. Extra time sparked new life into Blackpool when on the 105th minute the Captain got his first goal of the season as Adam volleyed it in from a Campbell knock-down. Leigh Griffiths with the last kick of the game finished what he started as he smashed it into the top corner and wheeled away in celebration.

Blackpool Halted By Arsenal
Blackpool 0 - 3 Arsenal
Blackpool's unbeaten streak was brought to an abrupt end as title challengers Arsenal dominated the game throughout. Arsenal started well with a neat finish from Arshavin. Sagna doubled the lead on the sixteenth minute mark with Walcott putting the game to bed just after half time after a mazy run and a slotted finish. Even the sending off on Eboué in the 83rd minute didn't allow Blackpool to pull one back.
