Cardiff City could count themselves somewhat fortunate to have escaped with a draw against Hull City in their N-Power Championship game at the Circle.
Experienced striker Jan Vennegoor of hesselink had a chance to score from the spenalty spot for The Tigers on the 3 minute mark but missed his spot-kick. Hull's Craig Fan made them forget the miss however by scoring a placed shot from close range on 33 minutes.
Hull's Ritchie De Laet received the red card for a professional foul with 45 minutes on the clock. Cardiff also saw their 58th minute strike questionably chalked off.
With Cardiff staring at defeat, there was controversy as winger Chris Burke then had a penalty shout turned down. With time rapidly ruinning out however, Striker Michael Chopra scored a placed shot to equalise for Cardiff.
Better late than never for Cardiff and the fans were clearly delighted with Chopra's impact.

Cardiff City battled to a deserved 1-0 victory over Crystal palace on a fine eening in their N-Power Championship game at Cardiff City Stadium.
Things did not get off to a good start for Crystal Palace as striker Nathan Tyson seized ona n error by Ciaran Clark to score a placed shot. Then followed controversy as Cardiff were denied claims by Tyson for a penalty.

West Ham rue missed chances

Cardiff City were relieved to hear the full-time whistle after hanging on to a 2-2 draw by their fingertips against a dominant West Ham United side.
