Thank you ! The day has came ! The day Football Manager 2010 is in the shops. Its like Christmas Day. Go down to Grainger Games to buy it and to have a full day on it! I cant wait. Blyth Spartans is defo the team to mange so i start off the new season. This story has got potenial!

thanks mate. Well for starting i played my Reserves but that didnt get off to a great start. i lost that 1 nile because of a silly penelty which was a bit of a sly dig. My 1st proper pre season friendly was againest Berwick Rangers. This is what happened...

Damon Gray is amazing on FM. Why is he at such a rubbish club? :S
He could play league 1 football.

Also good luck!

Next Preseason game was aginest Annan athletic. Paul Brayson scored on the 55th minute to give Blyth a lead which only lasted 2 minutes. Scott Anson Scores on the 57th minute to make it 1 all. David Maclennen Then scored on the 78th minute to brake Blyth fans hearts. Another defeat ! Whats going wrong here?

best of luck mate, im gonna try a blue square south team when i finish southampton

With Blyth losing 2 on the trot , Soulsby better be getting ready for a massive push againest the next game for Blyth. Darlington are the next team Blyth are to host this Pre-season. Darlo are the 1st to score and its new signing Chris Lumsdon in th 8th minute. The game went on looking like it was going to end but no Darlington doubled there lead over Blyth with a goal from Dan Riley. As it looked all other Ian Graham gets a quick goal back for Blyth in stoppage time but it wasnt enough to overlook Darlington. Another Defeat :(

With another defeat looming over Blyth the next game was really a must win. Cove Rangers were the team to visit Croft Park today and they looked like a team that anybody could beat. Blyth took the lead in the 26th minute from John Alexander. Blyth had doubled there lead over Cove by a goal from no other than Robbie Dale on the 37th minute.Half time passes an Blyth are looking to be celebrating there first win under there new manager. New signing Ashley Homes makes it 3-0 it Blyth as he heads it home on the 74th minute. With 3 minutes to go Cove give a final push and get a goal back from Martin Johnston. Adie Webster gets Blyth's 4th as the full time whistle blows a sigh on releafe is given by Blyth's Manager as he gets his first win under control of Spartans!

Here is the screenshot of the Cove game and by the way could you please leave a comment because if you dont i wont continue this story so please just leave a small comment thank you (H)

Blyth are a good challenge - thought you might have done Berwick though ... in the games I played as Berick manager, I generally lose to Spartans.

As an aside, one of t' lads I work with his sone is on Spartan's books as trainee.

Berwick are a good team but i would rather do my local team because they arnt the biggest club but they are full of history and thats what i love about Blyth Spartans.

Anyway back to my story.

Soulsby signs new Stricker !
New Blyth boss Michael Soulsby has signed a new stricker. He is called Efe Echanomi and Soulsby is pleased to have got him on a free transfer as money is a shortage at the moment.
" Iam delighted to sign Efe because he has had plenty of experience in competitive football and this could be a perfect break for the lad"

Blyth bring in youngster Homes
Blyth have signed a new defender to replace Richard Pell who departed for Alfreton in the summer. Ashely Homes has joined Blyth on a free from being brought up in West Brom's Academy. He has plenty of potential to be a 5 star centre back.

Blyth Spartans 1 - 1 Ballyclare ( Echanomi )
Poor game really but debut Efe Echanomi scored for his new side as Blyth draw a game which could have been won by anybody.

Soulsby brings in another player to the Blyth squad
Michael Soulsby has added another player to his new signings this month with Graeme Port. " Graeme is another great addition to my team and hope that he will do well with us". Soulsby got him on a free transfer from being releaste from scotish non league Glenrothes. He started his career at Man Utd's youth squad.

Blyth Spartans 2 - 1 G H Academy ( Dale, Alexander )
Glenn Hoddle Academy are a special team from spain. They took the lead with only 3 minutes on the board to make it 1 - 0 to them. Robert Dale equilized 2 minutes after half time to make it 1 all. John Alexander then smashes a shot into the bottom corner of the net to make it a decent win for Blyth.

Blyth Spartans 1 - 1 Newcastle Reserves ( Craddock )
Great game to manage. Result was unlucky but Soulsby was happy enough after its a profesional reserve team. Craddock took the lead for Blyth after a cheecks corner kick. Mark Bell made a bad mistake by slipping in his box for Newcastle to equalize. Fantastic attendence of just over 2,000 were packed into Croft Park.

Lol that ilkeston fan had such an ugly face, michael you any good with the fm10 data editor? Please have a look at my help thread in the editing forum, see if you could help me! :)
