Blyth Spartans : The True Story

I am feeling so sad that you lost that Play-off place, but I hope this season you will perform better, good luck mate!
 
Blyth Spartans 1 - 1 Nuneaton ( Brackstone )
Both goals where scored in the first 5 minutes. Apart from that the game didnt really get going after the 2nd half. Good result for Blyth as Nuneaton are joint top.

FA Cup 3rd Quali. Rnd.

Blyth Spartans 2 - 0 Dartford ( Dale )
Robbie Dale shows why Blyth are still in the cup. From now the better teams will enter and we will see how Blyth do.


Workington 3 - 1 Blyth Spartans ( Francis )
Blyth have lost there win streak after falling apart at Workington. The only positive that i can take from this game was Alex Francis's goal. Probs the best game ive scored on FM10.


FA Cup 4th Quali Rnd.

Bromley 3 - 0 Blyth Spartans
It is the end of the cup run for Blyth as they are shown the back door by Bromley. There is always the FA Trophey.

Droylsden 2 - 1 Blyth Spartans ( Francis )
Challenging game but the home took there advantage and stole a goal to the closing end of the game.


Blyth Spartans 0 - 2 Worcester
What a horrible game. Evan with a good crowd Blyth couldnt do anything againest the traveling team. Need to forget that result and fast.


Kings Lynn 1 - 1 Blyth Spartans ( Scartascini )
These results are gettinbg worse and worse. Kings Lynn had a 14 non win streak and they almost beat that after they scored an easy goal. Blyth arnt playing with passion but luck.

Blyth 4 - 1 Workington (Francis, Scartascini 2, O.G.)
I was offered the Barnsley job just before the game and i said i was interested so this could be the last game as Blyth manager, So the players played there best for me and they find themselves into the proper round.

I have to admit,I do like going into lower leagues and finding teams with names I like.Havant & Waterlooville,Hinckley United,Kettering Town,Dagenham & Redbridge,Blyth Spartans - the list goes on and on.I will try and do some lower league management after I'm done with Brentford and at least established them as a good English team,but really I like your story.It's good that you support your local team (I think) and have the aspirations to take them high up footballing pyramids of the game.

All I can say is good luck and I will be following to see how you are doing,despite not commenting a lot of the time.

Blyth Spartans 2 - 2 Fleetwood ( Dale 2 )
Cani game overall. Had our ups and downs but no real result can of this.



Hyde 1 - 3 Blyth Spartans ( Scartascini 2, Dale )
I was expected to win and thats just what happened, Hyde posed no threat and we walked all over them.


Blyth Spartans 2 - 0 Tamworth ( Webster, Scartascini )
This could be one of the best results of the season. For kick off i thought that i would be beaten but i won a game which i wasnt expected to.

FA Throphy is at home to Dover and will be on the next Update which will be tomorrow morning.

Blyth Spartans 1 - 1 Dover ( Scartascini )
Both teams were lucky to score a goal. Blyth took the lead and kept it until some lazy defenders didnt close down a stricker and he fired home in stoppage time. Reply will be played after i come back from school is afternoon. :P
 

Dover 2 - 1 Blyth Spartans AET ( Dale )
Blyth did so well until extra time and Dover showed that they where the better team. But only just ! Blyth only need to consentrate on the league now.


Guiseley 0 - 0 Blyth Spartans
The most boring game i have ever played on Fm ! If you had fallen asleep you wouldn't have been worken.


Blyth Spartans 2 - 1 Nantwich ( Scartascini, Francis )
Thats more like the Blyth i know! A home win againest a good team is all that needed to make me smile. Keep it up lads.


New Signings at Blyth

Blyth have signed 3 new players. Duwayne McManus (Ballinamallard), Wayne Dean (Ballymoney) and Zac Aley (Southport). Hopefully these plays will be able to play in Blyth's next game which is at home to top of the league Hayes and Yeading.

After this exciting win, Blyth have no moved up to the play off's. Ishmael Welsh scores his first ever goal for Blyth after 23 apperences.

The game was not so good 1st half but it got better in the 2nd. Both teams pushed to there edges and went for the win.


Blyth Spartans 2 - 0 Ilkeston ( Scartascini 2 )
I think that Blyth deserved towin today. Our Strickers are to much for other teams goalkeepers. Thats a good sign.


Blyth Spartans 3 - 1 Eastwood ( Homes, Scartascini 2)
The team is getting better and better. Beating a team who is high positioned then yourself will always go down well/


Blyth Spartans 0 - 1 Alfreton
A very disapointing game. Blyth didnt try to win and they couldnt tackle the fast passing Alfreton. I should have won today but no.




 
Great read, inspired me to do a non league game after my current one. Blyth for promotion this season :)

Hey hows your right back Steve Harrison doing? He used to coach me in real life and havent looked him up on footy manager.
 
Harrison is doing well at Blyth. He is commited to the club and gets on well with the lads. Scoring occasionally (and a beauty against droylsden). He would have been a good coach.


Maidenhead 0 - 2 Blyth Spartans ( Brackstone, O.G)
Brackstone scored an amazing freekick and well deserved the man of the match. Good away win for Blyth though.;)


Stalybridge 1 - 0 Blyth Spartans
Boring game! It was like Blyth didnt even turn up. Hopefully Blyth will do better next game.


Blyth Spartans 2 - 0 AFC Telford ( Turnbull, Scartascini)
Thats more like it. A confident win at home makes me smile and the fans will appreciate the victory and the clean sheet.


Corby 2 - 1 Blyth Spartans ( Dale)
Disappointed, but the team doesn't slack in confidence, we will just look forward to the next game.

Average kind of game today. This score will make both sides fans going home with a knowing they didnt get beat.


Gainsbrough 1 - 0 Blyth Spartans
It is hard to comment on today's result. I expected a Blyth win and probily so did the won team but that wasnt the case.


Blyth Spartans 0 - 0 Workington
Its been a while since Blyth had won and that record still goes on. A bore draw was all that occured at Croft Park but a point each way.



Nuneaton 3 - 4 Blyth Spartans (Gillies,Zamaradi,Dale 2 )
What a game. Two evenly matched teams go head to head to create a game that Blyth fans wont forget for a while. A very late winner by Robbie Dale secures a lucky away win.


I was just woundering for next season that i change the layout of my thread. If you have any good idea's it will be appreashiated. (A)

Low attendence today as Droylsden leave with a point in the hands. Not the most exciting game ever.


Blyth Spartans 2 - 0 Kings Lynn ( Zamaradi, o.g )
Good win for the Spartans. A much better result than the away tie. Blyth will be happy after todays preformance.


Fleetwood 1 - 0 Blyth Spartans
Fleetwood deserved there win as Blyth cant win away from home. Disapointing game via Blyth's side.


Worcestor 1 - 2 Blyth Spartans ( Scartascini, Wray )
Keith Wray scores a scorcher on his debut for Blyth as they beat a team who is higher up the league. You just cant deside if Blyth are going to win or lose away from home.


Blyth Spartans 1 - 0 Hyde ( Dale )
I expected a win but wanted more goals. Over wise iam happy for a win. :)


Tamworth 1 - 1 Blyth Spartans ( Webster )
Amazing game from Blyth's point of view. We almost done the double on the top team and iam very proud of the Lads. :D



Hayes and Yeading 1 - 0 Blyth Spartans
This might have been the most important game for Blyth if they should stand any chace of getting into the play off's. Unlucky to the Spartans.



Nantwich 3 - 2 Blyth Spartans ( Dale, Webster )
Well thats Blyth in the Blue square North next season. We tried so hard but it wasnt good enough. Blyth players will feel really down.


Blyth Spartans 1 - 1 Hinckley ( Scartascini )
Blyth should have won today but all the players are not playing there best as there is nothing to fight for.


Blyth Spartans 1 - 0 Guiseley ( Scartascini )
Blyth's last home game of the season was for the supporters. Today was a happy place to be is Croft Park.


Ilkeston 2 - 0 Blyth Spartans
Today's result overall shows Blyth all over. They cant always reley on Croft park but the away games aswell.


Its the end of another season and it ends in disapointment AGAIN !

 
Unlucky mate. Will this be your third season in BSN?
 
Iam just going to try this new set out i have thought of. It's suppost to be like Sky Sports News, it would look good but it will be hard to do.
