Board refusing to give me new contract

Im in my 3rd season with Wolves, I started unemployed with ex pro rep and got the job in December 2013 in the 1st season we won league 1 after being just outside the playoffs when I took. Second season won the play offs in Championship and now in my 3rd season its Xmas and I am 6th with a untouchable job status but only 7month left on contract and I have been asking board all season and they say I need to prove my worth before a new contract.

Can anyone help with how can get a new contract or is it some kind of bug?

not really a bug, still have 7 months to go, try again at 4 months.

They usually offer you a contract without you asking at roughly 2-3 months before it runs out mate.
