The main benefactor of you playing 'terrible' is as mentioned. You sold the majority of the team when you didn't need to, therefore, causing the new players to be unable to perform, as the tactics, team and philosophy are all new.

Despite excellent profiteering you did to get £54million in selling, you have literally bought a new squad of players. I would suggest, now, two things.

  • Keep using the Ghost Tactic to let the team gel into it, and be able to get used to it, rather than having to adapt again.
  • Start over, and use either a 4-4-2, due to you having quick strikers to get in behind the defenders and good width about with Bryan Ruiz, Martin Petrov and Mbark Boussofa, or a 4-2-3-1, and place on of your attacking midfielders in the centre as the playmaker, whilst having a creator-destroyer midfield. You have Romaric and Vertonghen. So utilise them.
And you are 9th. That is good for a team such as Bolton in the first season.
 
If you sell such a large proportion of your team and bring in so many new players in a short space of time then it is going to take a fair few matches for them to gel.

But you seem to have a good team and using someone elses tried and tested tactic, things will come good.

ghost tactic is amazing u dont need to tamper with it much. as they said just go through with it use team blending on match preperation in a few months you will get results. MAKE SURE THAT NEXT SUMMER U DONT DO IT ALL AGAIN. make 2-3 signings max and then youth players/regens so you dont upset your team again.

You have enough help already. We have advised you. Stop bumping the thread. Just revise over the advice given and adapt it, rather than looking for more and more help.
