Am I the only one here who thinks that the game engine has some kind of a "pre-determined match result" for your team?

It is not that I am whining or crying, currenlty I am managing Renate in Italian Seria C1A and I am about to promote to Serie B (second in league)

But;

For example; I keep beating strong teams away (the score is %80 of the time 1-0)

And; I always score the only goal of the match in the first half, between about 10" to 40" minutes. And the game continues on.

In my home games, it is pretty much the same: I win 1-0 (which is rarely) or draw 1-1 (%80 of the time again) And no matter what adjustments I do; I (again) always score in the first half and concede a late equalizer.

So, isn't that boring? Did somebody notice that? I miss the random / fun element in old Championship Managers...

Yes I win most of the time, and yes I get promotions, but this is somewhat disappointing, I feel like all my matches, all scorers and scoring minutes are pre-decided. I can actually guess with great precision!

can't say i notice this, the scoreline's I get seem to always vary.

Well when playing against big teams you are probably better motivated, the opposition gets complacent. That's the reason you win and score early goals. But then the opposition realizes that they have got a problem and try and get a result and their superior quality and better fitness levels stop you from scoring more and you're lucky if they don't score.

No it's not pre determined, it's just that your tactic is like that. Try changing tactis and see died the results change.

The ME doesn't know the difference between AI and user. So it can't be pre-determined!

Well it's just a feeling I get when I play this game.

You build a nice team, and it's like the game says in advance "You're going to be successful, you're going to finish the league in a top spot and you're going to get promoted after playing these similar games"

I feel like there's too much consistency here

Anyway, maybe you're right, I should change tactics. Just wanted to know if there was anyone with a similar feeling.
