Bradford City have today announced that rookie manager Ben Campbell will take over the hot-seat at Valley Parade. Chairman Mark Lawn has decided Campbell is the right man to lead the club forward and has given him a contract deal up until June 2011, which is worth £1,000 a week. Campbell has limited funds, with just over £12,000 to spend on transfers, and a wage budget of £21,500, with the club already spending £18,393 a week. The bantams fans are hoping for a successful season this year, ending in promotion back to League One. Campbell goes into this job with no managerial experience and having only played semi-professional football before. Bradford fans are said to be upset and angered by the appointment of Campbell, so his first job is to win the fans round.
