Bradford City Story

After much thought and consideration,I have decided to start a Bradford City. This is my first FM Story. .Bradford City look like a team that can get into Premiership within about 4-5 seasons,and with the right direction they should be a established premier league team.

Season 1: Gain Promotion to League 1
Season 2: Consolidate my position in League 1
Season 3: Gain Promotion to the Championship
Season 4: Consolidate my position in the Championship
Season 5:Then hopfully go for promotion to the promise land.



I will regularly post updates on the friendly matches,league tables,incoming and outgoing transfers and screenshots of the current squad.

Pre-season Transfers:

Alton Thelwell:
Got him in on a free transfer he was previously at Leyton Orient. Upon joining Bradford he said he was delighted to be back playing regular football after being a free agent.

Zoltan Harsanyi
22 year old attacking left sided player on loan from Bolton. Both himself and Bolton are delighted at the deal as this gives Zoltan some vital experience

Paul Dunphy
Paul is a 22 yr old striker who I signed for free from Irish non league side Dublin Bus. Pauls goalscoring record is very good at non league hopefully he can translate this to League 2.

James Shea
Young goalkeeper signed from Arsenal for 7k . I had one eye on the future when signing this player. My aim will be to play him in JPT games.

Alexsander Prijovic
19 yr old Serbian striker who I signed from Derby County on Loan. My scouts recommended him. Was in Parmas youth ranks before moving to Derby. This lad has alot of potential hopefully he will bang in the goals.

Corey Treacy
Started his Youth Career with Notts Forest. He was releaed and joined Shamrock Rovers where he impressed in reserves. He was on the fringes of the 1st yr. I signed the 20 year old for 2.5 K

Alexis Hervier
30 yr old French keeper who signed on a free transfer. My plan is to have him as my number 1. Was recommended my one the youth players who happend to play with him whilst on the same team

Currently playing as Bradford City myself and its been alot of fun, Just finished my 6th season with them finishing 2nd in the premiership, They have a very strong team to start off with and a good board who will give you money to spend, After getting promoted to league 1 i was given 3.8 million to spend which is more than enough to build a team to get you out of that league in the first season.

You were spot on to give yourself 2 seasons in the championship, Although i reached the playoffs in my first season in the championship with them and lost out in the final it was a good thing as it allowed me to bring in enough players to hold out in the premiership and build up funds to bring in those key players i would need.

Harsanyi is the only player i know who you have signed, Had him myself on loan too and he is a solid player and hes released after the first season and if you play him enough Bradford become his favorite club so you can snap him up.Evans is the best striker you have scored 34 goals in the first season for me upfront on his own, Neilson and Flynn are solid too and Flynn has a wicked freekick on him.

Bradford need a defence though, The defenders they have just cant cut it and conceed way too many goals, I signed a whole new defence over the season but i would say 2 CB's are a must have as Rehman and Clarke are really weak, LB and RB are ok and can do the job but i replaced them aswell.

At the end of August I am sitting 19th in the league with 4 points out of a possible 15. I've drawn 4 games out of 5. I can't seem to see out leads and i'm very disappointed at the Barsnely result as we dominated the game but failed to convert chances into goals.

i play 4-4-2 as you can see im currently top of the league in january and someone said ***** topp played for city which he did he plaed a few games but was deamed not good enough but my god was he good enough his positioning shooting he had it all skills ut are manager let him go in real life ***** or billy as he was known at city could of played in league one or even the championship
