I know there is already a active Ajax story on here, but this isnt a Ajax story. Its more of a career story as I plan to stay at Ajax for a minimum of 5 seasons and move on. Doing the Ajax challenge also.

Ajax 5-1 ADO Haag

Southampton+v+Ajax+Pre+Season+Friendly+Ipx6BSiaJhwl.jpg

Central Defender Toby Alderweireld turned out to be a unlikely hat-trick hero as Ajax turned on the style to see off last season's league runner's up ADO Den Haag at De Kuip in Rotterdam last night.

Alderweireld opened the scoring after 8 minutes with a scrappy goal from close range after Lakaku's header smashed off the keeper. Urgrauyian international Luis Suarez then doubled the lead after a sublime ball from Loanee Rafael Van Der Vaart. Alderweireld, whom is being chased by clubs such as Liverpool and Sevilla; put his tally to two for the evening with and close range header.

Haag then gave themselves some hope, Estonian Andres Oper latched onto a fantastic 40 yard pass from Central Midfielder Timothy Derijck and kept his cool to finish by Skeltenburg.

However this seemed to be in vain as Lakaku won his team a penalty when he was hacked down by Christian ***. Alderweireld snatched the ball from Van Der Vaart and completed his hat-trick by smashing the ball into the bottom corner from the spot-kick.

Ajax were not finished yet, there was still time for Lukaku to score his first goal for Ajax with a fine header from a fantastic cross from 2nd half substitute Assiati. Ajax go into the new season with alot of confidence after this win, however last season's top scorer Montorras will miss 6 months with a torn calf muscle.

RBC Roosendall 1-5 Ajax

1ca61cd87a714cea6104158af13d-grande.jpg

Newly promoted Roosendaal were given a harsh introduction to the Everdivise by Champions Ajax. Home Fans at the Mariflex stadium were seen leaving the stadium with nearly half a hour left as Ajax ran riot, Loanee Van Der Vaart stole the show with a wonderful Hat-trick.

It was the former Hamburg man that was the catalyst for the first goal after only 12 minutes as he played a cheeky pass through the 2 RBC Central defenders that sent Postiga through on goal, who made no mistake in finishing. RBC Right Back Van Nijnatten scythed down Suarez at the edge of the area after the half hour mark, which quite rightly the referee pointed to the spot. Van Der Vaart thundered the ball into the top corner. Van Der Vaart added his second 2 minutes later latching onto a majestic cross from Timothee Atouba and flicking the ball by the hapless Christianen.

RBC came out in the 2nd half looking like the team that stormed the Jupiter league last season and scored when the Ajax Offside trap failed and placed the ball by a furious Skeltenburg. But that man Van Der Vaart was not to finish his scoring yet, running from the half-way line he strolled past two defenders and made a difficuly finish look extremley simple by smashing it by Christianen, who could only watch as his team fell apart around him. Van Der Vaart was in that sort of mood, and when he was hacked down by van der houten after the hour mark he balsted the penalty into the bottom corner after the defender had recieved his marching orders.

Ajax look the team to beat in this season's Everdivise, and with Van Der Vaart they have a special player.

Ajax 4-2 NAC Breda

vaart3.jpg

Rafael Van Der Vaart scored four as Ajax dispatched Breda. But their defensive frailties were uncovered as Breda undid their offside trap twice.

Zwaanswijk took down the ever impressive Suarez for Van Der Vaart to score his first from the spot After 2 minutes. However nearly instantly Breda equalised when Amoah undid the offside trap and cooly placed the finish by Skeltenburg. Van Der vaart added his 2nd with a screamer from 30 yards that the keeper could only watch was it sailed past him into the top corner. Just before half time Van Der Vaart completed his hat-trick with a piledriver from the edge of the area.

The impressive Amoah gave Breda a glimer of hope after the hour when he once again beat the offside trap to the fustration of Skeltenburg. Van Der Vaart scored his 4th from the spot with only seconds remaining in the 2nd half.

One thinks that Manuel Pellegrini must be liking what he is seeing from the Dutchman, who he used sparingly last season.

Feyenoord 2-3 Ajax

17_Helder_Postiga_s_512255a.jpg

Postiga scoring his first of the game

De Kuip held host to a cracker of a game on Saturday evening. Champions Ajax are hot title favourites and after this game, they are really the team to beat.

It didnt start well for Ajax, makeshift right-back Joey Brock brought down Roy Makaay at the edge of the 6 yard box, whom converted the resulting penalty; completely sending Skeltenburg the wrong way to give Feyenoord the lead. Feyenoord held back after and were punished when a great example of counter-attacking football brought Ajax's equaliser. Enoh cleared the ball from a Feyenoord corner, Suarez picked the ball up on the half-way line, took the ball by 2 players and then unselfishly squared the ball to Postiga who had the easy job of putting the ball in the net.

You could feel Ajax coming into their stride, Carlos Martins played a perfect ball to his fellow Portugesse Postiga whos wonderful finish into the far corner gave Ajax the lead. Suarez scored a wonderful solo effort to make it 3 after 55 minutes. The finish was nervy when Makaay pulled one back for Feyenoord, but it turned out to be a consilation

Feyenoord's chances are already looking bleak, while Ajax look hot favourties to retain their title.

Ajax 5-0 AZ Alkmaar

nicolas+lodeiro.jpg

Lodeiro after his first half strike

A majestic performance from Goalkeeper to Striker was on show at the Amsterdam Arena, It is too early to draw comparisons to the great Ajax side of yesteryear. But even them would be impressed by this performance.

The amazing Van der Vaart was to thank for the first goal after quarter of a hour. Intercepting the play in his own half, he ran with the ball to the byline where we whipped in a majestic ball to the oncoming Postiga. The Portugal international provided a assist for the 2nd, squaring the ball on the edge of the bow for Nicolas Lodeiro to score his first of the season with a rocket of a shot that hit the bar on its way in. The lead was stretched the three before the break. Suarez picking up the ball on the half-way line and playing a sublime ball to Postiga playing on the last man. He made no mistake and Ajax went in with a 3-0 lead.

The rout continued into the 2nd half when after the hour Ajax Captain De Zeeuw played a fantastic ball to the on-rushing Van Der Vaart who scored his 9th goal of the season by placing the ball into the net. It wasnt over yet for AZ, Postiga played a great ball to 2nd half substitute Romelu Lukaku who scored his frist league goal for Ajax.

On this form, Ajax can beat anyone in Holland. Although, like last season it will be interesting to see if they can keep it up. AZ dont look like title challengers after this display.

RKC 0-2 Ajax

Suarez celebrates opening the scoring

Ajax notched up another win to hold onto their 100% record. A great team goal by Suarez and a Great free kick from Martins were the difference although RKC wernt pushed over in the manner of Alkmaar.

Ajax started in the free goalscoring mood they had left in their previous matches this season and it paid as in the 19th minute Postiga picked up the ball. He passed it to his left to Suarez who passed back and made a darting run which Postiga saw and played a fantastic ball and Suarez finished at the keeper's near post.

At the half hour mark Carlos Martins doubled the lead with a 22 yard free kick which he placed into the bottom corner. The second half RKC came back into the game and Skeltenburg made a fantastic save from a free kick after the hour. Rafael Van Der Vaart was replaced by Assiati soon after with a calf injury which will rule him out for 4 weeks.

Ajax look to be the real deal in this season's Everdivisie.

Find the Dutch league easier by miles especially if your a top team in Serie A. In Serie A you got to do wing play to stretch out the sometimes ultra-defensive opposition, whereas the Dutch League the pitches are usually very narrow and the opposition are willing to attack you a bit; which suits my narrow tactic perfectly hence the amount of goals ive been scoring.

Serie A is a very difficult league, harder than the Premier League in my opinion.

Stuttgart 0-1 Ajax

64052_fullimage_1188144778969-Ajax_-_heerenveen_Stekelenburg..jpg

Stekelenburg had a great game.

A man of the match performance from 'Keeper Maarten Stekelenburg was the difference between the two teams in Germany last night. Stuttgart were the better team on the night, but Ajax and Suarez had the finishing touch.

Stuttgart wasteful in front of goal, particulary Pavel Progrebnyak. This proved to be costly as in the 19th minute Ajax scored the winning goal. A quick free kick from Van Der Wiel found Martins, who played a nice one-two with Postiga before playing a fine through ball to Luis Suarez, who took a touch and finished into the far corner.

Although Stelkenburg's performance was sublime, he was caught coming off his line a bit too much. Twice he was caught and Stuttgart failed to capitalise. Progrebnyak missed a open goal smashing it off the bar in a "What happened next?" moment.

Stuttgart will have to improve uptop if they want to come away from Gladbach at the weekend with the points, while Ajax's 100% record this season continues.

Heerenveen 1-0 Ajax

babel-051307-ajaxnl.jpg

Assiati Fires yet another Ajax chance wide.

Ajax returned to the scene of their defeat last season hoping to gain revenge over a so far poor Heerenveen side. However wasteful finishing proved very costly for the men from Amsterdam. Heerenveen finally pick up their first win, while Ajax drop points for the first time the season.

Ajax dominated the first half, but again Suarez and Postiga wasted chances. Suarez hit the woodwork at the half hour mark and De Zeeuw came close with a long range effort.

You could sense Ajax would regret these chances, and they did. 7 minutes into the 2nd half a corner whipped in by Ibanez met the head of Djuric, who's fantastic header made it 1-0. Ajax then threw in the Cavalry, bringing on Assiati and Lodeiro but no effect.

Yeah, kind of struggled in the early part of the Europa League last season. Hopefully I can do a bit better. Got Villereal and a team from a minor nation in my group. So im confidant of a 2nd place finish at least :D.

HSC '21-Carparc 1-4 Ajax

gabri.jpg

Gabri played a starring role

Ajax played a strong team against a brave Carpac side yesterday afternoon. The holders are through to the next round after a acceptable performance at the Scholtenhagen.

Assiati was given a rare start and will of gave his manager a few selection problems after this impressive performance, he opened the scoring capitalizing on Lukaku's knock-down and dancing by two defenders before placing the ball into the net for his first of the season. A sublime pass from former Spanish International Gabri gave Loderio the easy chance to make it two, which he did with a cool finish.

It was the Spaniard himself who socred the 3rd. Stelkenburg hoofed a long ball which Gabri latched onto and shot lot into the far corner. A fine one-two from the strike pairing of Weustink and Heinsbroek gave a consilation to HSC before Ajax round up the win when Lukaku headed the ball into the roof of the net from close range.

Ajax 2-1 NEC Nijmegen

Luis_Suarez_1089067b.jpg

Suarez after his second

Ajax resumed buisness as usual in the Everdivisie by dispatching NEC in Amsterdam last night. A impressive brace from Luis Suarez was the difference between the sides.

Spaniard Gabri, who was handed a start after his impressive mid-week performance was the creator of the first. His fine ball found Suarez, whos fine finish gave Ajax the lead after quater of a hour.

Urugruayian international Nicolas Lodeiro set up the winning goal after the hour by sending Suarez through after a great run from his compatriot who made no mistake in placing the ball into the net. Helder Postiga is likely to be out for 2 weeks as he picked up a freak broken nose injury.

Ajax 1-0 Villarreal

Martins after his stunning free kick

A tough fought battle at the Amsterdam Arena seen Dutch run-away leaders Ajax come out on top by a single goal. Coming from a exceptional Carlos Martins Free Kick.

Both teams were evenly matched all over the park, and possession was virtually even after half a hour (52%-48% to Ajax). However Brazillian Nilmar missed missed a shot that was harder to miss before half time, smashing his 6 yard effort off the post.

The Everdivisie champions finally broke the deadlock after the hour mark. Romelu Lukaku was dragged down by Gonzalo Rodriguez in a arial confrontation 27 yards out from goal. The Exilled former Portugal international Carlos Martins stepped up to take the free kick. He bended the ball right into the top corner despite Diego Lopez getting fingertips onto it. Ajax held out to top Group D

Keep going mate, great start

Yeah, I generally havent played FM alot in the past few weeks, I might try update it before I go to sleep. I think ill do monthly updates rather than game-by-game. And the fact I was already a season in before I started this story might not make it that great.

im following mate but a tip mibi just do monthly reports instead of one after every game
