I have set myself a challenge of getting Hearts to win a European Trophy within 5 years. I've just finished my first season.. This is how it went..

1.7.2008 -
Andy Burns hired as Hearts manager

28.8.2008 -
Won Europa League Second Qualifying Round

1.9.2008 -
Transfer Window Closes

Won Europa League First Round

Qualified From Europa League Group H

Everton (4)1 v 0(0) Hearts

25.4.2009 -
Won Scottish Cup Semi Final

17.5.2009 -
Finished 3rd In SPL

Became Scottish Cup Champions!! :)

Also I signed Dailly on a free, with wages of £500 a week. He made 33(17) appearances and an average rating of 7.07, he won signing of the season (along with Carlos Tevez at Celtic).

At the minute guys I'm looking for a good RB so feel free to offer suggestions (I've got about £6.7M left and already have David Barron) Also, you are more than welcome to post your stories of SPL clubs in this thread :) Just no boring Celtic or Rangers ones guys!
 
It's been ages since i went Hearts but in my 7 seasons i couldnt bring any euro success. Good players kept moving to the premiership and i struggled to keep finding cheap gems to keep up with the old firm. I did win the league a few times though.

I'm also guessing your using someone's edited patch?

Tevez at Celtic made me lol

What skin you using?

Yeah I'm using a 2010 patch. Didn't help me much though, first season I had about £90K or something to spend. But I managed to get a turnover of about £5M+ last year so I'm in good shape now :)

I'm on the Steklo 09 skin.

Just finished my first game. Lost 2-1 away to Celtic, not a bad result but I could have done better..

Hey I'm going to end this thread now. I don't play it anymore, purely because I've messed the team up.. I've signed to many players, and a lot of them were well.. Rubbish. So I lose pretty much every game :/ Feel free to check out another thread of mine. HERE!

I'm also going to start a thread about my Portsmouth game with some really good signings.
 
Lol see if anyone goes Farts never sell Gary Glen he's a class act man.

No honestly, trust me I've tried. But I just cannot win.. I've weakend my team by buying over-valued players who suck. I might try again sometime, who knows :p
