New season is here, full of hope and optimism...well sort of!

As I said in a previous update Benteke wanted to leave...annoying but he had to leave if I am going to have a full British squad anyway!

Benteke sold to R Madrid for 32.5m....Kerching!

I also managed to get rid of Darren Bent and Charles Nzogbia to reduce the wages. Didn't get much for them but wanted them gone!

Ok so as the point in this is for Bringing youth through the team I spent ages on youth intake day...and I mean ages! It has paid off though, I have found some with great potential and one guy who is the best regen I have seen for his age!!

Season Preview

Ok so the guys upstairs expect a mid table position...probably my fault for getting into Europe but should be no problem!

Yeh 10th is fair, but I want better than 10th. I want to be in Europe again or very close! missing out on Champions league by a point or 2 (I forget how many) was annoying but I doubt we can make it there again especially after losing Benteke!

Pre-season went well, very happy with the win over Dortmund!

as you can see I put the new young kids in a few games and they did pretty well!

Maybe I should put the young ones straight in the first team and see how they go... hopefully won't do too bad or am I gunna do a Lambert and end up battling for relegation?

Any suggestions, comments or tips are welcome, be nice to know if people are enjoying this!!​

Good going mate, Love the signings of Sterling, Hughes and Gauld, Not sure your age limit for signings but look at the Dundee United team were you signed Gauld the likes of Andrew Robertson, Ryan Dow and John Souttar are all good young British players

Glad you picked up Robertson! Hes so underrated as a player as most of the big clubs talk of Souttar and Gauld but he was just as consistent for me on my Dundee save

A loss against Tottenahm (they battered us) but 3 wins after that! after beating Southampton they were bottom after finishing 2nd last season! I tried to pinch a few players but they weren't having it!

Yeh he looks like he will be decent for me! kept him at Dundee for the season!

I looked at Souttar too but they wanted a lot for him!
