Building for the future

I am currently Aston Villa on my save and one thing I would like to do is build a strong backbone to the first team which will include potential top u21 and u18 players.


Unlike some teams, Villa are a little lucky in the fact they do have a few decent prospects who may or may not make the grade in the future.

I would like to also strengthen these areas of the team without spending much money. Are there any tips where I can pick up top youngsters for free? Or very small fee's?

Most younger players tend to come at a cost these days.

It depends if you want to go for the usual suspects and if you want them to be English or not, if you have no preference, just that they are cheap, young and have bags of potential then I suggest the below:

Jesus Vallejo - around £500k
Ruben Barbosa - around £1M
Pavel Savitskiy - Under £1M
Humam Tariq - Under £1M
Frederico Bravo - Around £2.5M
Daniel Amartey - Around £2M
Pion Sisto - If he still has the £2.5M release clause
Kristoffer Ajer - Under £1M

A lot of them are more expensive on the update.

For example: Vallejo cost me £1.1m rising to £1.7m with addons.

i was also hoping for some gems for £250k or less. Real bargains with lots of potential!

Ajer is now around £2m on the update. Managed to get Tariq without a work permit but for some reason I can't send him to a affiliate club until the next transfer window. I hope that doesn't effect his progress.
