Hello,

After years of trying hundreds of tactics, I started making my own tactic. Of course I used other tactics and got the best parts out of them. The result is a 442 basically based on TFF Battlemaster combined with Knap's Salford flat and of course Eusebio. Most of the tactics resulted in many yellow and some red cards and I tried to keep this to a minimum. (still i get 2 yellow cards when making 3 fouls )
Some results and yes, i'm already in 2024 (don't we all?)

I only played this tactic with a good team (PSV and Ajax) but got very good results and won the Eredivisie year after year with some Champions League and Euro super cup wins as a bonus.

If the opponents are (very) strong i rarely change the tackling to "get stuck in"

I tried something that I have rarely seen but works extremely well for me; Inverted Wing Back. I will post my tweak (although, there are elementary differences, so is it a tweak?) for those who are still playing 2016 and are interested.

Made another 3 tactics:
- Traumatice V1 is a attacking formation.
- Traumatice V2 is the same as V1 but all the midfielders one place back (4-1-3-2)

We are playing narrow, higher line, use offside, sometimes closing down, and prevent GK distribution. Play out of defense using both flanks looking for overlap and work ball into box. Short passing and players roam from position. And finally: attacking and very fluid.

Formation of Traumatice V1 (look at the back: an inverted wing bank!)

Hey mate. I am still playing FM 16 as well :)
So, which one of these new three tactics you use the most? V3, V2 or V1? V1 looks very attacking...I assume you use it only at home against weak opponents or perhaps in the last minutes, in case you are chasing a win.
Can you please give some more information/tips about your tactics? Opposition instructions, training... :)

It is quite easy :) . In all the years i've played, i used V1 the most. It obviously is very attacking but i like the idea of entertaining the crowd. I find it more fun to score 6 goals while conceding 2 then win with 1-0.
In europe you mostly get very good results.
I often let the Assistent Manager handle the OI and training but not always; Then the Opposition Instructions is:

Training:
In pre-season 50% match training, focussing to get the tactics fluent. Then change to 30% match training and use 'Defensive Positioning' due to the attacking nature of the tactic.

Bulldog V3 is a 4-4-2.
Originally based on TFF Annihilator. Tweaks have been applied, such as different free kicks and corners, and the midfielders have been given new assignments.

The goalkeeper defends.
The full-backs is attacking as usual, but the central defenders are not footballing defenders but "normal" ones.
In midfield, we have attacking wingers with two different playmakers in the middle.
Up front, we have a supporting, complete forward with an advanced forward.
The team instructions are concise, unlike the player instructions (including tackling). Most strikingly, every player instruction calls for less pressure, while the team instructions call for much more. This creates a high level of pressure!

Bulldog V4312 is completely different. I use this tactic if my profile is known by the AI.
