His Stats have recovered and now he is nothing short of lethal, i think it was because i was re-training him to be a centre mid, as soon as he became natural, his stats SHOT up

I've had this multiple times as i'd always buy him for Bolton, think i've had it 3 times, once on Dan's training, once on Tug's, once on a specific training i made for him using the schedule calculator.

In that case it must be an issue with settling in or a bug just present in this player and a few others.

Obviously retraining his position is going to affect his stats, you are basically telling him to stop learning one thing and starting learning something, there would be an immediate drop in attributes.
