Burnley today signed Damien Duff on a free transfer after his contract at fulham was canceled early. Burnley sign England Star

Burnley shocked the world as they signed Ashley Young from Aston Villa for 2.8 Million Pounds. The England International was upset that he wasn't playing for Villa so thaught it was the right time to leave, Burnley manager Craig Dunning was Suprised that Burnley were the only team intrested in Young. In other news Burnley loaned Gary Madine to Birmingham, Adam Le Fondre to Colchester and sold George Koch on a free to Lincoln. Burnley have also bought Alex John Baptiste from Blackpool for 3.2M. The also swapped Brian Jenson for Nikki Bull from Wycombe. Ross Wallace went to Q.P.R. for 2.6 Million, while Lean Cort and Kevin McDonald went on loan to Leicester and Blackburn. Barry Ferguson arrived from Birmingham for 1.3M and Jose Manuel Pinto arrived on a free transfer

Laws Walks Out!


Brian Laws today shocked and pleased, Burnley supporters by handing in his Resignation to the chairman. This is what the Chairman had to say " I would like to thank Brian for all his hard work in making Burnley FC as good and as big as he possibley could. Today it seems like Burnley may not be getting who they want as Manager as all 5 possible canidates confirmed that they did not want the Burnley FC Job. First Jose Mourinho and Eddie Howe said that they were both to loyal to there clubs to join. Then Phil Brown said that Burnley was not a challenge. Then Lee Clark said that he was only in his Second Season at Huddersfield and did not want to go until Huddersfield were a Premier League Side. Burnley Have Appointed a new Manager

Craig Dunning, a young manager from Hartlepool, has been appointed manager of Burnley FC. Here is what he had to say," I am very Proud that Burnley FC, who were only in the Premier League last year have appointed ME as manager."
Here are some questions from his First Press Conferance


Reporter: What does it feel like to be a football manager?
Craig D: I am very proud and hopefully I will be very Succesful.
Reporter: What do you hope to achieve in your first season?
Craig D: I hope to get into the play-offs and hopefully in a couple of years be playing in the Premier League
Reporter: Who do you think will be your main Contenders for Promotion?
Craig D: Middlesbrough, Bristol City, Ipswich and Cardiff
Repoter: Can you tell us how much money you have to Spend?
Craig D: You'll have to wait and find out.
Reporter: Which Football team do you support?
Craig D: Liverpool FC
Reporter: So not Burnley?
Craig D: No but I will try my best to take Burnley to the Premier League and Beyond.
