Just wondering if anyone uses buy back clauses as a means to develop young players? I usually either loan them out or stick an unfinished product in the first team, which can be harmful to results.
The general idea could be train them as usual and loan them out until approx age 21, if they aren't good enough yet then sell them with a buy back clause in place, then you could snap them back up if they've reached their potential. If they don't develop so well you've made a bit of cash, rather than have them soak up wages.
Just thinking it might be a way of mirroring what a few clubs are doing in real life (Real - Morata, Barce - Fabregas, Chelsea - Lukaka (probably))
