Buying poor players and selling them for a profit?

So who does this? You buy a mediocre player and let them train in your reserves for one or two years and then sell them for a big profit with clauses and all? I've currently hooked up 3 guys for free who are decent. Planning to sell them in a year or so.

This has been made a lot harder in FM11. Also, pay attention to their wages.

Well that's the thing, I'm not having any problems with selling players. This season I sold 2 guys for a combined 6 million. They both were 22 years old and had a wage of 1100 E a week.

I sometimes do this with free transfers. The one I most remember is I bought Joe Garner, had him play a season in the reserves/5th choice striker and sold him on for 2.5m. Not bad. Not tried it in FM 11 yet though.

I sorta did this but he was a great player and I didn't wanna part with him.
Bought Bryan Ruiz for 3.9M After 2 blistering season he wanted to leave (long story) so I sold him to Arsenal for 10.5M
