BWM in 2016

I'm playing as Southampton in 2016/17 and I need a defensive midfielder.

Currently in 1st in January!

Current lineup-

GK- Courtois/S.Romero
DL- Shaw/Oviedo
DC- Papadopoulos/Kirchhoff/Lovren
DR- Clyne/Chambers

MC- Ward-Prowse/L.Romero/Sneijder/Inan/Defour (last 3 pretty much just for tutoring)

AML- Ince/Januzaj(****)/Vargas
AMC- Holtby/Hughes
AMR- Salvio(prob about to go to Man Utd)/Ince/Vargas

ST- Gabbiadini/Mitrovic/Barbosa


I know I shouldn't have sold Wanyama, but a ?27.5m bid from Chelsea... I can't really say no.

Any recommendations would be good!

Essentially that. Your best bet would be trying for good, young regens. Check into Yann M'Vila to see if he has moved, if not, snap him up. Casemiro is pretty good. Gabriel is a decent option there too. And what about the Bender brothers? Matheus Bitheco is ok as a stop-gap option.

Or you could buy a CB, and just play Papadopoulous as a BWM. The guy is a tremendous monster there.

M'Vila was my first option, but he wanted ?160k a week. I'll have a look at Casemiro, I know he went to Botafogo cheap first season!

I got Courtois for ?3.3m because his contract was about to run out!

That's a good deal! M'Vila always wants really high wages, maybe look at Romulo from Spartak Moscow?
