true, very annoying when your teammate has it on in hardcore modes.
juggernaut or as the yanks say juggernoobs has to be removed, its so annoying
 
Ugh, Martyrdom is the most ridiculous thing in the game... rewarding a player for being killed is just stupid.

At least Last Stand (CoD4) / Second Chance (CoD5) requires some skill to point and kill with a handgun while you are dying.

I tend to use Stopping Power as my 'must-have' perk, and I always stick with Flash-Bang grenades.

sounds to me like you are 1 of those people who gets caught by it quite often lol!!! i dont think there is anything sweeter when someone stabs you from behind or are sneaking around in dark corners they think they have out smarted you but oh no martydom it is a little bit of security for me and always gets me kills. Although i must admit i really hate snipers and i love catching them from behind with a stab or lobbing a grenade between them and their claymores and shooting them as they try to move lol!!!!

Yeh, or those people who think there smart by waiting for you to plant the bomb on S&D then kill you to get more points, but your bomb kills them lol. Only time i use it is on Shipment, gets quite alot of kills.

Not correct, I am aware of the Grenade danger indicator plonked on the middle of the screen. However, when I am determined to capture a HQ and kill somebody who runs inside who has martyrdom I hate the fact that I will die.

simple answer use a gun with a a grenade launcher atachement that way any one in the room will get it without you having to enter and even better if they have martyrdom or just throw a grenade or if you get there before them lay some claymores by the door and make sure you are not near it. I have to say that catches me out quite often especially when climbing a ladder sometimes as you say you just have to go for it mate.:) Like i said add me COZIEBOY XX quite a lot of my friends play it too even my misses and she is not to bad either she averages about 10 kills a game on deathmatch and my 9 year old son and he is very good.
 
You have XBox and I have PS3, making it impossible to add you.
 
since they made call of duty 4 I really didn't see a reason to go back to WW2, there are enough WW2 games, well enough.
Plus it has a Ps2 feel to it I cant quite describe, the **** Zombi mode you unlock has literally saved the game from failure for me
 
I get too ****** off at noobs using juggernaut or fannys hiding in corners all match waiting to shoot you in the back.
 
dunno never liked juggernaut and i dont think it makes a lot of difference stopping power cancels it out but definetelly agree with the fannys in corners god they think they are so smart and that is where for me marterdom comes in cause those fannys are coming with me and they are not so smart after all just wish marterdom would get snipers cause i think they are fannys lol... and dont you just think those people no matter how many times they get killed go back to the same place every time its so funny you can always tell a noob deaths 20 kills 0 lol!!!!!

Calling Snipers 'fannys' I find ridiculous but I guess everybody has their own opinion. Snipers can't just do well without being good at what they do and using a Sniper rifle has a disadvantage in the fact that chances are they will get owned when engaging in close combat.

To be honest it's easy to kill a sniper.

Campers annoy me though.
 
Yes i wasnt on about snipers which i think is a fine art.I was on about campers who basically sit and wait for someone to move in front of them then shoot them in the back.
 
I hate it, that's one of the reasons I do not play Hardcore type matches.

hardcore's the only thing i play, i don't like it when people don't die quickly, i also prefer not being able to see the grenade indicator because i have to keep my eyes open more
 
That's why my classes all have Stopping Power. They always die quick to me :/

if i play core i use stopping power, but i prefer to use different perks instead of stopping power so i play hardcore
 
my friend has apparently received a message from activision that has stated that to play online game modes for call of duty modern warfare 2 everyone (no matter what platform) will have to play a monthly fee.after learning this, over 300,000 people have cancelled their pre-orders and are disgusted with this new arrangement. i have asked him to forward it to me but personally i am not sure if this news is real. if it is indeed, what are people's thoughts on this?

p.s. i know it has nothing to do with CoD 5, but i thought it would be better to post it here than start a new thread.
 
Surely they wouldnt do this, people already have to pay for the game, membership (on xbox) but im looking forward to his so much so if it is true i may actually pay it lol.
But im sure its not ture.
 
i feel ripped off. i get a message whilst playing online saying that all map packs are half price, so i go onto the playstation store, purchase map pack 3 and when i get back onto the game after installing i find that they have editted this message by including brackets that say only in north america. what a rip off!
