I am going to start in the Blue Square Premier as Cambridge United. My Goal is to reach The coca-cola championship in 5 Years and The Premiership in 7 my team obviously needs to improve if it needs to reach these. does anyone else do this if so tips and help is welcome e.g who you bought. I will keep posted especially after pre season and if other people take this challenge like me you can keep us posted on yours. Thanks
 
Cambridge were my rivals when I was in the BSP with Basingstoke, was neck and neck with them but I nicked the title in the end. There a good team
 
kk ty at the moment tryin to sell players to shorten wage budget to hopefully bring in some players for free
 
Well Zlatko Yankov is a must, the 42 year is an FM 09 Non League Legend, he's on a free at the start
 
yh i have offered him a contract sold a few players and brought i a player called seyfo soley for 75k wanted 2k in salary brought it down to 1k and he accepted very good stats search for him he is only 28 aswell

Tesfaye Bramble is a good Target Striker, although that as at BSS Level, not sure if he can cut it in the BSP check him out any way

yankov testing my paitence wants £350 offered it him rejects contract says salary is too low offered him higher still rejects. thinking if forgetting him

found a great partnership with corden and soley corden makes him a totally better player
 
A good way to search for players at BSP level, is to select certain artibutes the player needs to at least 10.
So if I was searching for a good all round srtiker I would do this on a search

Position - Striker
Accel - at least 10
Pace at least 10
Finishing at least 10
Composure at least 10

And thats it, scroll to the bottom of that list (were the free players are) and troll through them :)
 
yh it's really hard but getting the hang of it. also based on the right partnerships
 
so far having an ok pre-season drawing to king's lynn, beating mildenhall and weston-super-mare, got cambridge city next after that only 3 pre-season friendlies left before season starts.

As August has now finished here ar my results in the BSP

Northwich 1-1 CAMBRIDGE UNITED
CAMBRIDGE UNITED 2-0 Kidderminster
CAMBRIDGE UNITED 0-0 Barrow
Eastborne Boro 0- 1 CAMBRIDGE UNITED
CAMBRIDGE UNITED 0-0 Kettering
Weymouth 2-0 CAMBRIDGE UNITED

These results leave me currently 10th place 5 points behind 1st place
