Wow, that's unlucky! I've been taken over once in each FM and I've never been sacked!

Yeah I was Rangers and got a takeover in division 2. Survived the sack as well.

Nearly every game of FM over the last 5 years i've had Bobby Charlton take over United within the first 3 seasons. Never been sacked but i guess it depends on how well you're doing and what clib you're at. Havent experienced it in FM13 yet though.

I once played as Shakhtar and got an extremely rich Chinese company taking over the club. It was pretty stupid since I already had enough money, but that meant I just had so much money I could buy everyone I wanted But financial takeovers differs from league to league. You won't get a rich Arab or Russian in Germany, as they have some special rules for that.

Yeah buy now and pay never stupid amounts. Do a harry redknapp and just put the club into stupid debt paying sky high wages and it will eventually be taken over. United get taken over on 2013 in around the 3rd season.
