Hey there, if you have read the thread name you can guess who iam going to be, Gateshead. The last couple of years for them has been amazing after back to back promotions. As a Blyth fan i wasnt the happiest to see them go up again. So lets see what i can do.....

Bogie just Leaves !
Gateshead FC's manager Ian Bogie has walked out of the club today after having an argument with the clubs chairman Graham Wood. So with Gateshead with no manager and the start of the season coming closer who will take his place ?

Next Day

Gateshead find Replacement for Bogie
Graham Wood has found a replacement manager just after 24 hours. His friends son is training to be a future manager and has been given a job at Gateshead. His name is Michael Soulsby and he said is is really looking up to the challenge. Lets see how we gets on then ...

Soulsby in Preseason
As new boss on a squad, Michael Soulsby needs to get to know his players so he asked his assistent for a friendly with the reserves and the 1st team.

Gateshead 2 - 2 Gateshead Reserves ; Mackay, Swailes
As his first game in charge it didnt end up in defeat. The Gateshead players played as good as possible to impress there new boss. A couple of players did catch his eye which is very promising.

Good luck :) All of your other stories have been good so will follow :D

scum scum scum scum scum scum scum :p just joking m8 , try not to get gates' of 216 :L & dont do an Ian Bogie -

Gateshead Manager Ian Bogie speaking before a BSP game against Luton Town "This is our biggest game for 50 Years" Must have been a F***** S**** 50 Years! :L

Anyway good look mate

I knew you would say something like that! and cheers Sam,

New jaffer Michael Soulsby has alredy asked for a parent club to be linked to the side. He has also asked for a feeder club which is most likely to happen. Fingers crossed that the board will find something speical.

Comfortable win for Tynesiders
Gateshead traveled away to St Andrews for a friendly which they won 3-1. Chris Swailes opened the scoring after 22 minutes.Few minutes later on loan striker Michael Mackay doubled the lead. Kris Gate then made it 3 from a scorcher of a shot. St Andrews did pull one back but that was it for them. Good solid win for Gateshead as they go back home with smiles all round.

Gateshead win in Scotland
Gateshead produced a good display tonight seeing off a Edinburgh City challenge. Right winger Jamie Harwood gave Gateshead the lead after 55 minutes. Striker Darren Forsyth completed the scoring with a well timed close ranged finish on the 70 minute mark. With a 2-0 score in the bag Gateshead will be starting to beleive.

Good win for Gatehead
Gateshead have shown there fans that they are a better team than they used to be. After beating a strong FC United 1-4. With a hatrick from Alex Francis including 2 pens will really back up his confidence. Gateshead will travel to Scotland again to play Bathgate Thistle. ; Brittain, Francis 3

Feeder Club Found for Gateshead
After looking around the North of England, Gateshead's board have gave a choice of feeder clubs, either Durham City, Bedlington, Bishop Auckland or Consett. With all in low leagues Michael Soulsby desided to pick Durham City as they are the bigger club. They will now be able to sent there reserves on loan for a season.

Gateshead win again !!
Yet again Gateshead FC have shown their fans that they are deturmind to win and todays result shows just that. A 4-1 victory over a weak side helped the squads spirit. With goals from Phil Turnbull, Christoph Ascheri and 2 from Armand One.

Last three friendlies:

Kings Lynn 0 - 4 Gateshead ;( Gate, Mackay2, Phillips )

St Albans 1 - 2 Gateshead ;( Mackay, Swailes )

Gateshead 1 - 2 Stockport ;( Harwood )

Good wins over Kings Lynn and St Albans and very unlucky about the Stockport score as they scored there second with 5 minutes remaining. There is rumers going around about Centre back Lewis Marr was seen in the ground earlier in the week. The player is suposed to sign in the next couple of days.

Is anybody following ?
