Hi,
I recently started a save with Cruzeiro EC. They start with many players out on loan and I definitely want to have some of them back by the end of this season to strengthen the squad without having to spend too much money on transfers.
Unfortunately, one of the best and most promising players out is loaned to another major club in Brazil with a previously agreed price to complete the transfer that is not even up to his value, let alone to what he should really worth on a transfer. Thus, I'm anticipating that the other club will most probably make an offer to complete the transfer and then I not only lose a good player I wouldn't want to, but also get no fair price for him.
The question is: is there anything I can do to prevent this? Does it help if I offer him a new contract now? Anything else?
Thanks,
Marconi
