I'm quite fond of this tactic that I stumbled on in FMM17 just because it worked so well for me.

In case the picture doesn't work, it's a back four WB-CD-CD-FB; DLP behind BWM and AP; A Winger on the same side as the FB; an IF on the same side as the WB; and a Poacher up front.
I've tried to implement it in FM19 but with no success. I'll be honest, I haven't stuck with it long enough to tell you exactly what was going wrong, but I'm not scoring, I'm not keeping possession, and I am conceding.
Obviously FMM17 doesn't use duties and PIs, so I'm wondering if I need to focus on getting those right, or if the tactic just doesn't suit the FM19 match engine. The great success that I'm trying to replicate from FMM17 is that I dominated possession in every match, and the IF/WB combination on one side meant I created lots of chances without being over-committed in attack.
