Can I manage a national team and club team simultaneously?

I am in the third season as Arsenal on FM 16, I've won the league twice but every national job I apply for, I'm not even considered for the job. My board also writes to tell me how disappointed they are that I am looking to leave. Is it not possible to manage both club and country teams anymore???
