hello , I have received a laptop for Christmas and was wandering if I will be able to run this game ? I don't have a clue about laptops... it is a Packard bell EasyNote TE69KB amd a4-5000 apu quad core hd graphics 1.50ghz with 8g of ram ? any help is much appreciated.

Well the minimum specs for this game requires a 1.6Ghz Processor, but i reckon you may just creep in with a chance due to it being a newer processor than the ones minimally required. So yeah i reckon you'll be fine, just don't load a mass amount of leads else your game will go horrendously slow!

hmmm I got it as a present you see so I want to know if I will be fine to run is there any tips for keeping things smooth in game like anything disabled that will help? and also would it be worth swapping it for a 1.6ghz laptop ?

I can only suggest running a low amount of leagues and DONT play on a large database. I don't think there would be any point in swapping it no, just because that 0.1ghz won't make a massive difference to the gameplay, just try not to run much in the background and keep the laptop well ventilated around the fan areas because when i play on my laptop, i usually play it on my bed and so where the vents are blowing out the air on my laptop they are blocked by the duvet and this causes the processor to get really hot! which is obviously bad, and that massively slows down my computer regardless of the specs it has, so keep it well ventilated.

haha im going to be worried constantly now having only the 1.50ghz so would you recommend I load just England if I plan to play as one English team forever will I still have a decent amount of players to sign/scout and do you think ill still be able to use the 3D enging ?

Not sure, could possibly load about 2-3 nations i reckon, just test it out, look at the star rating, if you only choose england then play around with the database size. Half the players you see on here that people recommend you probably won't be able to find since most of them probably need the large database and a certain nation loaded, but it's always worth a try.

I reckon you'll be able to use the 3D match engine yes, since a quick google search tells me your laptop has AMD Radeon Graphics which should be fine.

okay thanks mate , sort of still debating with myself to try and return it and get the one with 1.8 ghz for an extra 20 quid

would it be okay if I provide 2 links to you via the pc world website so I can show you the one I have and the one im considering replacing it with (if I can return it within 7 days)

Sure, don't need to ask, it's only 3:35am in the morning and i won't be able to sleep for the next 2 hour so sure, fire away haha!

Ahhh thats terrible then if its that star rating. That would certainly be worth the upgrade i think for system performance, okay you get slightly less RAM but as long as you're not planning on having tons of applications open all at once then you should be fine. But that Processor should allow you to load more leagues! Whether you'll be able to play with the 3D match engine though i'm not sure since it doesn't say anything about a graphics card which probably means its the little crappy built-in intel ones.

If you had the option to get your money back completely i would definitely recommend Birmingham Laptop Shop | Cheap Gaming PCs | WiFi Printers from Box
I got my laptop from there, dead cheap for the specs you can get sometimes, think it also has free delivery.

ahhh what am I gonna do :( I hope you can return laptops to pc world within 7 days! and do you think that other laptop would be any better? wonder why this laptops performance is so bad ive had worse and had 5 stars on large with many leagues!

I'm actually not sure you can even return it to be honest, after just looking at the return policy it says this (Read the top little bit):

If i'm correct then i feel sorry for you mate. Just sabotage something on the computer and say its faulty ;)

But yeah i do believe the other laptop would be better, performance wise anyway. Graphics wise, probably not so much.

hmmm my only issue im noticing is that when I hit continue it takes only about 2-5 seconds for the days to process but up to 30 when theres matches being played im not used to that I don't think ive never really had to wait that long tbh

I've ran it on a 1.2ghz, (ish) you'll be fine.. takes a while to load but keep it small, and simple league wise, i was running 5 or so..

is there any way I can speed up the matchday processing times I mean its actually only about 20 seconds average am I just being fussy , but also sometimes when I go on the preferences and click tabs it can take a few seconds to load the pages but in game etc its all smooth it seems just the delay on processing and occaisionally loading pages

If you're happy with the amount of leagues and players you have, then just keep that current one, my game takes like a minute to process a day so its not that bad ;)

hahaha I think the 1.50 ghz has got me all paranoid whenever theres a slight in game delay loading things but even still 1 star performance on medium database and only one league ive never been on small do you still get a decent amount of players to sign throughout the career?
