Next time i'm sure you'll think more about your next purchase Yeah probably, like all the well known leagues will still have players you can sign from, but just wont have those cheap awesome players you could normally sign most likely. Never played on a database smaller than large to be honest and never played with less than 7 nations so i'm unsure what its like on small database.

Jesus! I really don't think the 0.1Ghz is going to make much difference to be honest :') It takes me like 2-4 days to do one season if i sit there and proper play it, i'm only in my first season with Juventus in March and i started this save on Wednesday!

Just timed it, and it took about 8 seconds, but thats just generally cause i have quite a decent laptop.

6 hours?! Forget that! Takes me about that long just to make signings at the start of the season!

hahahaha I haven't played for a year so im getting used to layout etc so taking me a while also my mind is pre occupied with this don't get how a dual core was perfect on fm 13 and quad core is terrible now haha then again what do I know

Because even though its quad core, it still runs on the same track on the motherboard, and if this game isn't that supportive of the multi core processors (Which im not even sure about) then you'll find the dual core will perform much better. Plus it also comes down to the clock speed of the processor.

More cores in a processor means the more tasks it can handle.

Lmao, relax, my game only took that long because of the sheer difference in laptop specs, i wouldn't mind waiting 30 seconds, everytime i press continue i literally browse the internet for about 2-3 minutes and then go back and click continue again. Just need to be patient :')

hahahahaha your right I should just relax and watch some tele or something while it processes tbh I was moaning to myself today because I put a documentary on and couldn't watch it cos I was on fm too busy could be a blessing in disguise haha, finally though would you say I should risk it by having a couple of leagues viewable for 1 star or just prem for 2 is there a massive difference in speed ?

Lmao you just can't win can you xD Well if you do choose to be patient then yeah its worth the risk, if you know you won't be able to be patient then just stick to the prem.

The star ratings have always been a terrible judgement though in the past so i wouldn't believe them too much.
I mean i have 9 nations loaded, 21 leagues playable and approximately 60,000 players and the star rating i was given was 1... and mine works perfectly fine.

I only have a 1ghz acer netbook and it suits me fine. I have 6 nations loaded with a large database and it suits me fine. Depends how quickly you want to get on with a game. I only tend to play fm when I'm going to spend a long time on my netbook because it does take a good couple of minutes to load rather than turn it on just to play a game and then go elsewhere!

do you not find that it takes about 30 seconds to process sometimes when you hit continue I know its that bad but considering you hit continue a lot those 10-30 second delays add up ! what star performance/ speed you getting ?
