Can t get into a game!!

My current save is with newcastle and im only in the first season and am getting bored of it. How do people on this forum keep their saves going (ive seen some in like their 30th season) any tips on what you guys do?

Pick a small club and make them big.
Pick your favorite team and be them.
Make a big foreign team big in Europe. e.g. Ajax or Dinamo

Take your pick.

manage internationally while managing club level, then you get 2 play with 2 squads

I usually just stick with my favorite team and try to make them the best ever. I'll reshape the youth system, set in stone a solid team that challenges for years, increase stature through stable finances. Its fun to see your team become the best in the world and stay there, i like the Alex Ferguson type save.
