tranfer embargo means you can't sign anyone right? if so, no point posting that tom :P

Good Luck mate. What about Mark Viduka, Franco, Chrstian Vieri, Hugo Viana and Brahim Hemdani as free transfers?? all good players and can help add strength in depth to your squad

Hmm I'm not good at remembering who's on a free, they all have clubs now anyway, but thanks.

The FA will be deciding this week whether or not to continue the transfer ban on English clubs until the end of the season. We hope to bring you the result of this soon. January couldn't come soon enough for West Ham, who are really struggling to find points, sitting in 19th place, they need to get some good results before Christmas. Andy Burns had this too say. "I am very disapointed with the results of this past month, and although the performances from indivuduals has been encouraging, we are lacking depth and are at times being forced to bring in players who aren't quite ready for first team football..." "...We are hoping the transfer ban can be lifted, as we need to bring in 2 or 3 players, if we are going to improve at all on these early games."

BREAKING NEWS!

Well this could be it, the end of the transfer ban as we know it? There has been no official conformation from the FA but it is reported that the West Ham chairman has given Andy Burns £30Million to spend, however transfers still cannot go through until January, could West Ham avoid relegation? They are currently lying in last place with five points from 9 games, but with money like that to spend, who knows what could happen? Andy Burns has declined to comment. If you wish to get in touch with us over who you think the Hammers should sign to bolster their team then comment after this post :)

Nice one mate, if there are any areas where you are a bit weak in then bolster them up with some good talent, usually West Ham need a left winger, if you still do Royston Drenthe is a class signing as you can get him usually for 5-6m if he's still at Real Madrid, if he's not still there I doubt he would be worth more than 10m :) If you need a new striker, get Milevskyi :) Btw, I'm liking the sig :P

hey ladz if r not doin owt join the europa legue please lads itll be great.
And good stuff im enjoyin readin this

Good luck mate, Awesome sig too - very simple but works a treat - i'll be using something like that when i decided to do a season!!

I think you should not spend the money and try get the first season done and see what happens.

oh allow spending money. I thought this would be with no signings. I'm losing interest.

To the people saying I shouldn't use transfers: This is a story, the story isn't about using youth players, it was how West Ham would survive without being able to sign anyone, the transfer ban is over now, and teams are free to spend money. If you are losing interest then follow another thread because I believe this is an interesting story and I do not want people moaning at me about it. That's not why I created this thread. Thanks to everyone who is enjoying it! It's great to read comments about my stories, so keep them coming, as the more I get, the more I feel I need to update! Lol

FULL UPDATE TOMORROW!

WEST HAM PRESS CONFERENCE:
ANDY BURNS: Thank you all for coming, this will be a quick conference, no questions. Yesterday Scott Parker made a £7,250,000 move to Tottenham. I understand this may be seen as a negative step by our club, but it is entirely the opposite. With have brought in players more than capable of covering Scott. Subsequently, we had to appoint a new vice-captain, the man chosen for the job was Mark Noble. There is also another big transfer within the team, Julien Faubert has made a transfer for around £4,000,000 + Luis Saha to Everton. The club felt this was an excellent deal. And Luis will be making his début within the next 2 weeks.
