Can you build rivals during the game?

was just wondering, bacause it has never happened to me, and was wondering if it was possible.

Not major rivals but the game recognises the teams you are fighting against for a certain position, then there will be added things based around those matches, such as press conference questions.

For example, Manchester City and Tottenham aren't rivals this season.. But the game on Wednesday will be a really fierce rivalry match for a position, its the same in-game.

Yes, thats correct. You can end up having players that will hate you and will want to leave. Lets not mention any names, DIOUF.

I had a rivalry in a previous save with Stuart Mccall the Bradford manager. I slagged him off when his team decided to play rugby and injured at least 4 key players :S
