Can you call your manager by one name?

Hey, I want to call my manager by one name instead of forename and surname as i want to be bruno and manage austria . However the game wont let me advance as it says i dont have a valid first or surname? is there a way to just use one name?

Type some name, and in the game give yourself a nickname ' Bruno '.

I think typing Bruno in the surname is enough. Not too sure though.
