Well I suppose in real life, players and managers have to be professional. So that's the way I go about it. I don't really care about who I manage. I just want to be successful no matter who the club. I do have preferences for which teams I manage when starting a save, but in-game offers don't bother me. For example I like root for Barca in La Liga but I'm enjoying my current Real Madrid game.

Don't even want to consider manageing West Brom, and even tried to convince my mate not to and manage Wolves instead ;D

Danny?`:P

OT: I tried managing Man Utd in 11. But it wasn't quite as interesting as I'd hoped. However, I find it quite a fun challenge to have an Everton save.

i tried managing Aston villia, and one i saw heskey, i resigned immediately ;)

I could only manage Real Madrid in order to make them sink into the lowest Spanish divisions...

2 teams I will never manager, Celtic and Barcelona, Celtic because my family are Rangers supporters and my Grandfather was born in Glasgow and hated Celtic, I kinda feel like I'm betraying him by managing them.

Barcelona I just hate, they are also to good to ever be fun.

Also I managed Liverpool a few years ago, I was fascinated by the idea of making Torres score millions of goals. I haven't managed them since however.

Without a doubt i could, but not for more than say 2 seasons before i get wandering eyes. I mean i'm a lifelong arsenal fan and never considered managing say spuds, utd or chelsea let alone liverpool and i have managed all of them with the end goal of working my way to North London. It's actually quite a rewarding challenge if you do it with the context of it being a stepping stone as you obviously want to build a successful team to win trophies and enhance your rep, but not so strong that you can't at least match it once you move on.

Will never manage Bolton, I was actually doing a LLM save and Bolton offered me the job from 2 divisions higher which I rejected without even thinking about. They're **** anyway, what would I possibly be able to do with them? I've never actually seen anyone on this site manage Bolton XD.

The only way I would manage Portsmouth is if I was only doing it to wreck the club even more than they already are :P

I'm PSG fan and I really can't manage OM (Olympique de Marseille) or OL (Olympinque Lyonnais). Disgusting teams..

A gauntlet has been thrown down from on high... watch this space!

Being a Swindon fan, I could not even imagine taking over at Oxford with the intention of bringing them glory. On an older version though, after leaving my position as England manager I did take over the Pox with the intention of destroying their team and crippling them financially. Having such a high reputation allowed them to keep faith with me for longer than I expect they would have had I been an unknown manager. They went on to get successive relegations first to the Blue Square South and then into the non playable leagues. I expect down to the English Southern Premier where they would be facing Oxford City and Swindon Supermarine. Priceless!

Never managed City or Pool

Thinking of starting a city save and destroying them all over and see them rot in championship

Being a Man United fan (and a actuall fan,i got to games and everything ;) ) haha!

so no....i could never manage city! EVER!

i'd rather finger my own mum.

I'm a Bolton fan (creative username, I know ;) ) and even I find Bolton dull. Never managed more than two seasons with them, they're just so uninspiring :L. Shame really, I'd love to take us to Champions League glory...

Would never manage Man Utd, would be too tempted to get them relegated.

Lol'd so hard at this.

Oh and also would NEVER manage the scum Inter. I don't care if they have 5 Messi Clones and 1 billion transfer budget. It infuriates me to see them do well in the game, so I crush them at every opportunity I get. Always praying I draw them in CL.

I've had a Bolton save on 11. Now you've seen one :P

I'm a Man UTD fan and never ever manged Liverpool, I admit I've played with the other rivals. managed City twice and after half of season I quite( I had results but ....). anyway if you start for example with AC Milan ,your chances of managing Inter or Juve is almost 0, and it's annoying because in real life ,especially in Italy there are many who managed rival teams

I've managed Manchester City before, taking them to back-to-back Champions League successes and winning the league four times on the bounce - second-richest club in the world behind Real Madrid (who have over 1BN) and a world class eleven, youth, academy, stadium (etc). This was on Football Manager 2010 and after I had left Lyon to manage them. Aguirre was sacked and I had only been at Lyon for 6 months. Prior to that I was at Juventus.

Unfortunately my laptop crashed and probably have lost the save for good.
