Canales stuck on loan?

I bought Sergio Canales for my team, Bury (I know...) To up his stats, I loaned him to Valladolid at the start of the 2010/2011 season. No problems with that...the 'recall from loan' clause was active but I can't recall him. The loan was six months; it's now the 2012/2013 season and he's still not back, and there's no way of recalling him. He's contracted with Bury until the 2015 season and his value is just a hyphen, so nothing. Is it a bug? First post, be gentle.
 
May be that his contract ran out and you didn't renew, also if, a loan deal involves a fee from the club that signed him on loan, you cannot recall that player.
 
Well, he's still contracted to me in the player info. The loan was six months with no fee, hence the recall clause being activated at the start. I'm just wondering why he's been on loan for two years now...
 
probably a bug but like luke said screentshots will help more...
 
yeah ive got this with nemeth at liverpool. Cant recall and he doesnt appear at the club he's on loan at...
 
Same thing happened for me when i loaned Fabio to Bristol City. He's mine until 2014, and he was loaned out at the beginning of the 2009/10 season, but one year later and he is still not back and i can't do anything to bring him back. Is he lost forever?
 
i sent Kakuta out on loan to Wigan , i click the Recall from loan button , but he stays and the recall from loan button appears again when i click continue!
 
a suggestion, not sure if it would appeal to anyone or that, but could you not add a new user as the team the player stuck is on loan at, and then terminate the loan?:D
