Cancelling Confirmed Transfers...

Just wondering....

.... Im sure we've all done it... Spur of the moment, confirmed a transfer for a player to join when the transfer window re-opens, that after a few months down the line, you no longer want/need!?

Is there any way to cancel the transfer before the window re-opens?

i'm pretty sure ounce you have confirmed it it's a done deal
 
Hmmm... So theres no way i can cancel it?

Was on a poor run of not scoring so splashed out £5 mill on a striker... that in all honesty, i dont need!?!
Seeing as my clubs finances aint looking too good, could do with cancelling! ha!

Just been promoted as Middlesborough... Start of the season was going abit questionable to say the least and none of my strikers we're scoring!
So, while the transfer window was closed, in the heat of the moment, i confirmed the transfer of Jo from Man City for £5mill.
Since then my strikers have started putting them away... plus ive had Michael Owen except me, but i cant afford his transfer... he'd only cost me £1.5!?!
Wanted to cancel the Jo transfer and probably bring Owen in!
Oh well, cant do much about it now i suppose!!!
 
i memba signing gourcuff cuz kaka was injured for like 6 months and then i had xabi alonso and thought i dont need this guy. in the end i made a £3 million profit on him so. and no you can't cancel the transfer.
 
I wouldn't be complaining. Jo is still a good striker!
 
so is there no way to cancel a confirmed transfer? think i have made my worst ever buy

would be a good thing to include, then i could of cancelled Chris Smallings transfer to united and saved myself 10mil
 
For a time there is a chance, I just don't know how much you have to change your mind.

You go to your team, then the transfer tab, there in transfer centre where you have the list of pending transfers. Highlight the one, there you will have to the right and bottom two buttons, the view deal and the cancel, which if you're lucky and are within the time, is not grayed and you can cancel it.

I've canceled a couple of confirmed deals, one I did the same day and the other I did after a few days, I think.

why dont you just slag the player off at any chance you can in press conferences or im not sure if you can but say bad things about him in the player interaction. He might then cancelt he tranfer himself if he dislikes you

I doubt that would happen as they normally have already signed the contract. Plus it'd make the manager look bad!
 
It may be a feature they include in FM11 as in FM10 on the iPhone you do not confirm the transfer until you are allowed to sign him ie a transfer made in October is not confirmed until January window opens
