cannot find default database!!!

i have installed with steam and verified it but it says cannot find default database please check installation is not corrupt?? (or something along them lines) when i try to start a game?

can anyone help me i have spent hours trying to sort it out and now i am fuming!

Try this... right click FM12 and go onto the properties....

i have tried that still no joy, could it be the actual disc is faulty?

even tried downloading and paying for a new 1 of steam and exactly same thing! so now ive spent £60 pound on nothing please someone help me!
