Can't bid for co-own Italian players

Usually you can't bid for co-owned Italians when it's not the transfer season but the transfer window is open and I can't bid for them.

This sucks because there is a really good re-gen that would want to sign for my team but I can't bid for him.



Why is this happening?

Think you have to be an Italian team to bid on co owned players right?

I thought you just had to be an italian team to bid to actually co-own the player but I'm trying to full transfer him by buying both teams' share in the player which usually you can do.

Okay just checked, it's only co-owned players who are under 18 by the looks of it. Still not sure why I can't bid.
