Can't choose extra nations when starting a new game

I've just finished making Kosovo on the FM 15 editor, and I wanted to do an initial test of the leagues before fine tuning it. However, when I clicked the box to choose my editor database file for Kosovo, it didn't come up, and all the extra leagues I had downloaded didn't come up. I unticked the box for Kosovo, but I'm still unable to choose any of the downloaded leagues. Can anyone tell me why I can't choose Kosovo? And why I can't choose the other leagues?
