Can't Join Network Game?

Me and my friend set up a network on Hamachi but when I put in his IP and click OK nothing happens. It doesn't say it can't connect, the dialogue box disappears and nothing happens. Can anyone help with this one? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked your firewall? This was a problem for me in the past, just needed to give permission

My friend was able to join in my game somehow, even though he was the host of the network we were playing on. Still not sure how he got it working but glad it works now.
