Can't register player for PL

Hi,

Playing as Everton and I signed Lodi an a free. I registered him the squad and he played first 2-3 games of the season.

Came to end of transfer window and had to register players for PL, however Lodi is now not in the list of players to register, every other first team player is. Now he is unregistered and I can't play him.

Anyone know why?

No he wasnt in the U21's

Seen Lodi mentioned on a few other threads. I think it's a bug in the game, he plays for two teams or something like that.

Ok, I found a solution to this, although not ideal.

Take control of Genoa and then retire. Somehow this kicked Lodi out of Genoa squad and available for PL registration
