Got the job as manager of Ireland's U19 team, a few days after they were eliminated from the EURO U19 Qualifiers this year (2019). I've got a friendly in two weeks, but as my club team (FC United of Manchester) is in England, I have no idea who's good in the national pool.
But here's the problem: I have no staff on the national team. No assistant manager, no scouts, nothing. No one to scout the national pool for me and tell me who to select. No way am I digging through hundreds of players on my own to find the right players for my preferred tactic.
I can't even advertise the job openings in the job center, the option to select Ireland U19 is just grayed out.
Am I boned here? Ireland isn't in my loaded leagues, is that the issue? I added it, but it doesn't take effect until the end of the calendar year.
