Cant stop conceding...

I am currently 12th with stoke, doing fine going forward but cannot stop conceding(34 goals in 16 games) playing 4231 formation. Playing the full backs as automatic, centre backs as stoppers with a deep line. enoh as anchor man with wilson deep lying playmaker. Any tips?

I can only echo what Laffles and GC have said. And what made you think that playing with two Stoppers with a deep defensive line was a good idea? Don't take offence to it, I am just curious.

Stoke do it in real life and it is succesful

Stoke's Fullbacks also act as covering CB's.
Hence why its fairly successful.
Though thats impossible on FM

Not quite true. Stoke just play with two aggressive, tall, powerful defenders. Doesn't mean they replicate the role of a stopper in quite the same way, though even if they do Stoke's fullbacks are quite happy slotting in behind. Can't do that in FM though.

I suggest Limited Defenders, for some reason, most players are better there than normal Central Defenders

Just changed to stopper(ball playing)/ cover(limited) stayed with deep line and got a 3-0 win against blackpool and lost 1-0 to united.
