Canter policy, dual nationals

Hello everybody,

So I'm running a story in the MLS, or a custom MLS, and I'm involving a cantera policy with my squad and only involving US players. Now, I do have dual nationals, and one such dual national got called up to the Mexican squad- as this would be breaching my 'cantera' rules, is there a way I can get him to refuse the call up, or do I just have to sell him?

can you withdraw him from the squad? it will likely **** him off but is the only thing I can think of.

No, I withdrew from a friendly earlier and he didn't care, but he got called up to the Gold Cup so I couldn't withdraw him. The US sucked in it though, got knocked out in the quarters so I was able to get the job. Bummer it was a little bit too late though, as he was a really good player, had to sell him. Would've called him up earlier if I was the manager.
