Lewie Roberts - Venezuela's Brightest Prospect?

View attachment 845378

Back in 1998, there was a boy born in Pontypridd. Nothing special, right? ... Wrong! This Welsh-born kid couldn't see it at the time, but he had the potential to shine. But then, the turn came. In 2009, they had to move to Venezuela due to a eviction notice, and the fact that Venezuela was the cheapest place available. Meanwhile, footy-mad Lewie just shone in the streets. He was proven to have super finishing, great stamina, and the ability to lead the other players surprisingly well! Then, in 2014, Spain came calling. Well, more specifically, Las Palmas. They wanted Lewie. They would arrange a flight, and accommodation for him and his parents, and the deal was done. But when he moved, he had to choose between the Welsh and the Venezuelans. He surprisingly chose the Venezuelans, as he loved the country and the atmosphere..

(1 year later, but before R. Madrid move)

Uhh, I feel I have done very well for Las Palmas! 5 games for them, and 4 goals, making me have a 0.80 Game to Goal ratio. For Venezuela, he hit 1 goal in 3 games for them, with Venezuela 7th in the WCQ, after playing Brazil and Argentina away in the last 2 games. But, I have a club interested in me... Wonder if it's the top clubs!

(September 2015)

"And welcoming to Real Madrid, our new potential hot prospect from Venezuela, Lewie Roberts!"

Yes! Now this is gonna be interesting! Real Madrid snapped me up, REAL MADRID! They're one of the world's top clubs, with the most CL wins out of anyone! Well, I have competition, from a certain Zambia kid! :P

Everyone is getting big moves, need to move to a top club to develop as best as I can I think. Hopefully a move happens with 8 clubs interested.

Kontevic doesn't make the Euros, but we have our first tournament representative for Europe in Yiannakou for Finland. Just. He gets called in as an injury replacement.

International Summary - June 2016

SAmerica:

- Venezuela 7th , Roberts makes the Copa America squad.

Asia:

- Oman and Qatar will battle each other in Group A of the last quali phase. 3 spots available, they also face Iran, Iraq, Jordan and North Korea.

Africa:

- None of the African teams make 1st in the group after 2, very much a case of pressure on.

Europe:

- France 3-0 Finland in the opening Euro 16 game, Yiannakou remains on the bench.
