Also, if wanting to truly test this approach I would suggest à different team than Ireland. Looking at the players, its à squad that should struggle big time using this approach

Catennaccio, is not a solid defence tactic. Catennaccio mean victory with one goal difference. So u need to create chances for goals and when u score, try to defend your post, with the same formation
