in 11.2 i bought Ryan Shawcross, him and agger at the back was ftw i won the treble and shawcross was fans player of the season !
 
Shawcross is a very good bet if you want a british defensive partnership (Wilson turns into one of the best).
Others could be Phil Jones, although he is very young, Kjaer like mentioned, who turns into another World beater, or Marc Muniesa from Barcelona, who if I recall, is quite cheap, just need to get him to actually want to come to the club.

I think he means Shane Duffy, which wouldn't be good seeing as he is part of the better side of Liverpool :P plus he doesn't turn out great.

I bought Mapou Yanga Mbiwa in my Everton save, he is quick, strong, tall, great in the air etc. plus he's young with bags of potential.
