After weeks of feedback of Friends who play FM, FM Sites and a whole lot of Tweaking my first FM 2012 Tactic is finally complete. Although it keeps the same name the tactic now has a 4-1-1-3-1 formation.

The tactic uses the numbers in attack very well to get goals and has also the ability to stop counter attacks.
The first match using this version of the tactic was a league cup match against high flying Brighton

Underdogs for an away match? No problem.

Doesn't get team complacent

OI: Let assistant manager do those
Team talks: What you thinks best
Instructions: You choose what you need specificity against certain teams but i normally use pass to feet and play wider which work well with the tactic.

Please say any problems you find with the tactic that haven't been spotted yet and i'll fix them u for everyone else to use.

Specific player needs:
Striker: Pace, Finishing and composure as it gives a few one on ones.
Wingers and attacking midfield: Stamina, Long shots and passing

A new Version of the Tactic is out which is more defensive but still gets goals.

I think you got the shouts wrongly.
Should be: Pass into space, retain possesion. Work ball into box.

You should consider playing with 2 centre mid instead of a DM and CM.
CM(D or S) with a BWM(D). Let your 3 AM do the jobs.

You should emphasize more on technique creativity passing for the 3 AM..
CM are those who breaks attack up and control the middle of the park.
And fullbacks are rather important
Btw, just a suggestion, since i have been playing with 4-2-3-1 in FM12 with many teams

Judging by the screens, it seems like a tactic very easily stifled by high pressing.

has anyone thats used this tactic done well with it???
